Workshop manuals

Hi, I'm considering buying a workshop manual and I see mainly two different versions, the Brooklands one and the one from the RSSOC. What do you think of those books? What are the main differences (beside the price)? Are they complementary? Is the one from the RSSOC far better? Or too technical but ...

Where did you see that standard steel wheels are not compatible with tubeless tyres? Wolfrace alloy wheels are definitely tubeless.
Thanks!
The current steel wheels do not have the lips theoretically needed for a tubeless tyres.

Wheels specifications

Hi, I know that this topic has been discussed a lot on the forum but answers are a bit randomly spreads and this is not easy to find the right answer. On my SE5a, I have steel rims with original plastic covers, it's not ugly and I wasn't planning to change them. However, renewing the tires, I have s...

A straight through 3” exhaust is hardly a fair comparison :D
I'm happy to see that mine is not the only one with wipers indicating the speed

Should i burn in hell?

And what about the E85? Is it well distributed in Netherland?
Old TDI engines are very noisy (and new ones are well sound proofed).

French air-shows anyone?

Thanks guys for this topic.
I went there once 20 years ago and it was amazing.
As luck would have it, I will be in Paris the same week-end. So I just have to convince my kids and friend's kids but this should be easy (I hope ).

SE6a french wake up after a long sleep

Hi Zeb; 13 weeks is much too long, the FFVE should have replied by now. I would hassle them if I were you. They were announcing between 14 and 16 weeks at the end of 2018. Now, they are forecasting 12 weeks of delay. According to their web site, they are currently treating demands done between the ...

You are close to the CT, you will be able to drive it soon!
I'm also waiting for FFVE papers, should be there in a couple of weeks, I've sent the papers 13 weeks ago.

Have you seen the new Ginetta ?

Yes, clearly, TVR own engines have a big responsibility in the company collapse (and they have not done this again with the new one).
That's why I find the choice of Ginetta very surprising. But, maybe on each 400kGBP asked, 50k are provisioned to cover warranties...
