lower whisbone arm SE6A

you can use something like this to clean it out. will be good as new. I would also go for rubber bushes for the bottom.

Scimitar will not start

Are you sure the rotor arm is fitted correctly ? it is possible to close the cap with the rotor arm 180 out. The distributor shaft will spin inside the rotor arm as it gets stuck between two of the points. it wont turn when the cap is fitted but will appear to be working when the cap is off. It will...

Springs, Dampers and Bushings

Its not just the bushes that are different sizes for the later se6a. the bottom of the shock is actually a different thickness. the later ones are thinner. I got some Spax from GW a year or so ago, they dont stock them anymore. had a few issues but ended up going straight to Spax because GW were not...

Help refitting distributor please

When i did mine i put some sealant around all waterways and around the oval ports too, just a smear not loads. Plenty at the cork parts though. It will help if you trim the head gasket tabs that are sticking out beyond the head there in your picture. I think i used a bit of superglue on the inlet gas...

5/5a Metal Bracket / u channel in nose section

Thanks for getting back to me. I had another look at the triangle shaped parts today and I think i might be able to restore them with a bit of welding. its really only the bumper mounting bolt holes that are in a bad way. the rest of them are solid enough. Item 12 which is certainly at the end of it...

5/5a Metal Bracket / u channel in nose section

Hi Mark. Are you still making these front nose sections? if do do you make them for the SE6a?

I need the both triangle shaped bottom parts(14) and the passenger side spare wheel tray support(12).

Thanks
Joe

Moss - SuperPro front suspension bushes £39.72

I agree, the bottom bushes on mine have lasted 10 years now and still seem fine. The top ones however seem not to last very long at all. i went through many sets of rubber ones due to rusty upper fulcrum. fitted new fulcrum and yellow poly bushes but they only lasted a few years. maybe the yellow on...

I have experienced the same issue with my leprechaun accent. I now just email them the address so they cant screw it up.
