GTE 6A 1977 Tie rod lever/steering arm

Jim The Early NON PAS I believe used an SE5a arm, I came across this when I repaired a crashed car for an insurance company. Over the years who knows what gets changed :w Not near the factory catalogue at present to confirm part numbers. Keith If its only a sheared bolt they are relatively easy to r...

SST H993WGF

Bit of an update on this car. Now has a set of decent seats. Underbody Shutz applied to all metalwork. Pair of new headlamps fitted. Carpets all cleaned up. New fool pump. Brakes and cables all freed off. Copper fool lines front to back. Fool tank out and cleaned up inside and painted outside, befor...

SST H993WGF

Is it an optical dillusion, or is it an eccentric cam?
Could have been used for a manual fool pump possibly?

He He He, I could get into trouble here if I posted my thoughts on facesnaptroublebooksocialmedia. Especially if james7759 has put all these parts up for sale on several sites inc scimweb and has seemingly disappeared without a thought or responsibility about replying/responding to requests ...

Oval port Essex heads

Jim
The parts as fitted can be used on D port heads too, only difference is the spring retainer caps which are a slightly different shape to the later heads.

Brake adjuster

Brian I have a few, it would seem each manufacturer used slightly different sizes, so unless you can confirm the EXACT length of yours for a match, you will need a matched pair.
Confirm your address by PM and I will pop a pair in the post.

GTC hardtop fixings

Chimp and Coastline I will be making some in the same design as Reliant supplied, same as the item pictured in the centre of Coastline`s picture at the beginning of this thread.
I know there is a newer type out there, just like Billy Sims offering.

SST RECORDS, HELP PLEASE

Hi Jim
#32 is H993 WGF, Blue, will get some more info from my mate tomorrow.

H991 WAS owned by a Guy from just up the road from me, but he will not answer his phone so I don`t know if he still has it.
Will take a guess that its #29

Gaskets fitment for a new WEBER carb

Mark you need to be talking to Steve, he set it up before it was exported?.
The 1/2" take off should be connected to the one way breather valve on the rocker cover, its an emission requirement.
The W plate is an atomiser to help spread the fuel around the induction chamber.

Gaskets fitment for a new WEBER carb

Ok that type has the W plate recessed into the spacer so you will only need a gasket top and bottom. Assuming the carb base is flat and true, also the inlet face is flat too. Be aware there are a lot of different thicknesses of gasket too, you should not use the very thin ones, go for a 10thou at le...

Distributor GTC manual

Phil it WILL have the pencil drive.
OR did you mean check the drive for wear??.
You will need a magnet on a rod to get the drive out as its not connected to the dizzy, a mirror on a stick helps too.
And be careful not to drop it in the wrong place when replacing it.

Gaskets fitment for a new WEBER carb

I think the issue here is the W diffuser and the block. Some diffuser blocks have a recess for the W plate, some don`t and the W plate sits above the surface so obviously needs the gaskets to clear it and a cut out where it sits. FrenchNewbie do you have a picture of the diffuser block and I can pro...
