Co worker of mine is currently looking at this 5a on gumtree with intention of buying.

Looks ok to me but does anyone else have any input they can provide?

Motivated as that then brings the total in cwmbran to 4....and I'll be getting the middle bridge set for mighty :D

Thinking out loud....just pulling it apart and running a brush on the inside has appeared to have taken most but not all of the stiffness away, would putting some sort of lubricant onto the said area help with this issue?

Managed to free the system up a bit and contact block is confirmed to be the culprit as once split the barrel spun around nicely, have managed to free the mechanism up a fair amount but she will need replacing in the not too distant future

One you should know about..

Contact block!

Key goes around fine for the first two turns (going in is never a problem, as any key of the same profile *that's also cut to a pattern* will go in no problem.) Right...off with the cowling

Does anyone know anything about se5a TIL2921

It does seem a little deja vous, must’ve been on eBay or FB? Both! Likely highlighted by me over on the FB group st some point so some poor sod doesnt get bent over a concrete traffic barrier over it's identity crisis. Although with hindsight, it's still a GTE, so still worth saving even if you nee...

Fan side  Terry understands it better than I, but the light operates the same as it did when the relay was fitted I.e when the fan is triggered by the otter, both fan and light kick in, once the otter is "reset" by the temperature dropping the light and fan then both cut out. Also worth noting...

Retrofit light Roger :D which, until it became non functional I didnt realise how much of a mind easer it actually was! Also it only ever lit up when the fan was actually in use and not freewheeling around thanks to airflow, possibly due to said relay there before but wont know for certain until she...

Fan finally checked this morning, turned on at the correct temperature, turns the correct way and now means mighty is fully back up to scratch, will be reconnecting the retrofitted "the fans running so relax" light on sunday. Next step is now just use mights as and when needed and gear up for her re...
