Cooling holes SE5a

Yep , Jim’s right . Classic example is the E Type Jag look at the size of the radiator intake in the nose , small in comparison with the radiator size and engine power .

Wanted Watts linkages

Coupe and SOME SE5 IIRC are 12mm shorter than SE5a. Or so I was told when I supplied some a few years ago and the Buyer reported back that I had sent the wrong ones. I may have some eye bushes left from a batch I sourced many years ago. Is it possible the first 500 SE5 that used the 7HA axle as did...

SE5a Windscreen Wipers - Possible to Improve?!

Hi, I have also some issues with the wipers, on the driver side it destroys itself quickly touching the windscreen rubber and with a poor efficiency. I've noticed that between passager side and driver side, the orientation of the axle is really different. So, is it expected to have such different a...

SE5 parts ,Door pulls are Ford Anglia or Mk 1 Cortina so maybe the same as MK3 Zephyr , window winder handles and inner door release handles are from Anglia and Cortina and maybe other Fords of the era .The thick plastic washers behind these handles are again from the same car , although early cars ...

SE5 Filler neck hose - HELP !!

As shown in the photo the early filler cap is retained in the rear panel by right angle brackets and small screws .
Yes it is a slow filler but the original upright cap is a unique feature for the early cars so keep it .
The cap and housing is from a mid sixties Humber Sceptre .

Do TR6 drums fit GT/GTE with Girling rears?

Yes your right David , when I fitted 15 inch PA rims to my old V8 coupe they didn’t but up and had to fit this spacers . presumably that’s why they were supplied with spacers, and not simply for aesthetic reasons as I thought? The 15 inch compomotives I took off had no spacers and the 15 inch PA,s ...

I've just noticed that the poor derelict FNJ has some strange bodywork modifications - Look at the right-hand indicator and the blanked-off grille  As you said it was damaged it’s the front that was fitted and then unfinished after its accident . The fronts been bonded on but not finished an...

The early Pre 500 SE5,s used a different lower pipe as the radiator outlet was in a different place . Could be one of those ?
Or a V6 Coupe .

Coupe SE4a horn button stalk

Mini would fit a 4B , 4A is a Sunbeam alpine switch , that’s if it’s horn only stalk .

You could convert to a mini single stalk if you fit a later larger 4B or SE5 column housing to cover the single switch .
