Mine took 4 years before they sat right, think the rubber section is a tad too deep really (they were from Walkers btw) Are you sure it's from door seals and not screen / wiper spindles / washer jets / roof aerial if fitted as well as the door waterproofing liner sheet, all good sources of water ing...

I've heard story's of insurers doing the computer says no thing when mentioned though not sure whether that was on a classic or modern policy as cars in question were bordeline as to which they were on, always best to let your insurer know of course as it may affect any claim
